Our recent two time adopter, Ashlyn Thomas, writes:
Adopting Griffen (formerly “Kenny”) last January from Pup & Cat Co. was such a blessing, and we couldn’t have been more thrilled to adopt again this January and receive another blessing in a form of a little brother for Griff, formerly “Thistle” and now Finn. These two were meant to be together. They are attached at the hip and act JUST like siblings. Finn quickly picked up Griff’s tricks of the trade, they are my two sweet troublemakers who love bones, toys, playing outside, and running my household, which is fine by me because I don’t know what I’d do without their constant entertainment and love. To say these two boys are loved (and maybe too spoiled) would be an understatement! I can’t thank Pup & Cat Co. enough for rescuing these two and giving me the opportunity to love and adopt my two boys! I can only hope by sharing my story that more people will choose adoption and change the life of animals that need their rescue. I can honestly say Pup & Cat Co. will always hold a special place in my heart, Ursula is such a self-less person who truly changes lives of not only the animals she rescues, but to the families she chooses these animals for.
Thank you Ashlyn for your kind words and we look forward to seeing your engagement photos.
How awesome are the Winder Barrow High Betas. They are sponsoring Olive to help with boarding and medical costs. She visited with them at school on Friday…..the kids loved her and here she is taking it all in. To date, they have raised $725 with a week to go. You Go Betas!!!!!!!!!
While we are thrilled about all of our Happy Tails, sometimes the adoption stories are a little extra special. This month both Hooch and Treasure found their forever homes. Hooch with the family of long time volunteer and PAC supporter extraordinaire, Michelle Hans whose son Damian fell in love with Hooch when he first met him several years ago. Treasure was adopted by devoted volunteers Melissa and her son Shamus, as well as the rest of the Gallagher family. Both Hooch and Treasure have been with Pup & Cat Co. for an extended time and the dogs have been patiently waiting in a local boarding facility to find a home to call their own. They didn’t have to look very far as it was impossible for our PAC volunteers to ignore Hooch’s sweet face and Treasure’s unforgettable personality while working with them at the weekly adoption events. Pup & Cat Co is thrilled that both of these fantastic dogs will remain a part of our extended family. Congratulations to everyone. This is one Happy Tale.
Newly rescued and up for adoption soon. As you can see from the top photos, a good bath and grooming appointment have revealed their sweet faces. Donations greatly appreciated to help with their care.
